I haven't seen this yet but I'm going to check it out this weekend. Any opinions? Is there much continuity between II and III? The comment "Here, let me get this out of the way: this movie SUCKS. Big time. There are absolutely NO redeeming qualities about this movie. None whatsoever. " on IMBD sure makes me drool :P

As much as between I and II :)

> Any opinions?

Better than II, still not nearly  as good as I.

At least Dar doesn't act like a total doofus.  There seems to be an inverse relationship between his hair length and his IQ

This one actually feels like a Pilot or setup for a TV series (given that a TV series is out now, I bet that's sorta what happened)  The production quality is very "TV"

BTW - Do *not* try to put one, two, and three together and figure out Dar's family tree!  Unless you are from Kentucky and into sorta inter-winding lineages

As far as continuity goes, III more or less follows I.  I think everyone agreed to treat II like Highlander: The Quickening, i.e., like a bad dream that we'd all like to forget.

Jay, basically has it right. Not much continuity between the three.
III being better then II, but not as good as I. And, yes, it was the pilot for a TV show. Unfortunately, it never became a TV series, instead, we got stuck with the one we got now.
And since we are talking about Marc Singer, one of my favorite B movie actors, be sure to check him out in "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: the TV Series," where he plays Bob, in the episode entitled "Honey, Its Doomsday." One of the best take-offs of "Star Wars," I have ever seen. Enjoy!

l like that episode it was funny when Wayne , Marc, and the other two guys talked about Marc's old Tv show V.

Sorted self referential like driving down the street in Beastmaster II and seeing the movie marquee for Beastmaster II

I like Marc Singer as an actor; I think in Beastmaster he played one of the most likeable and intelligent "S&S" heros.

I wish he could get better parts than "Cyberzone" ('Droid Gunner') and I don't even want to talk about "Dead Space"
