This was one of the first reviews I wrote.  I have been interested in updating it for a while (along with a handful of other films).  The review has been revamped and the plot section expanded.  If you have not done so in a while, rediscover the b-movie joy that is Ed Wood's masterpiece:

Found a minor typo in the first line of the last paragraph"

"Most of the time is flies completely "

should probably read

"Most of the time it flies completely "

Professor Hathaway:  I noticed you stopped stuttering.
Bodie:      I've been giving myself shock treatments.
Professor Hathaway: Up the voltage.

Thank you, sir.  I put that one up without the benefit of proofreading by anyone besides myself (but I did go through it three times).  Still, I knew that my brain might have skipped over something I typed incorrectly.

Watched PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE again a couple months ago only this time with my daughter who hadn't seen it yet. Still fun to watch.

Watched this one with my daughter when she was in middle school, we laughed so hard that we actually were missing parts of this science fiction masterpiece, now I must get the little woman to view this movie.

Oh, Brothers . . . and Sisters . . .
Let us not be recalcitrant in our deep homage to this masterpiece:
http://THIS IS THE SINGLE GREATEST B FILM EVER MADE!!
IT IS THE STANDARD BY WHICH WE SHOULD JUDGE ALL OTHER STUPID B MOVIES!!
beyond this i can say nothing
peter who?/denny what?
I have no idea what this means.

yes, and absolutely nothing beyond the icons worked here -- I was trying for different colored type, font size, graphic nonsense, etc. and the only thing that worked was the beer guys.
Very disappointing . . .

Plan Nine is much better than many give credit for.  It is still a mess, but can be fun.

Its good your revamping your old reviews that you can add something new to.  Some of my old ones desperately need to get revised, but Robovampire just hurts too much to watch again...

Has anyone seen the colorized version they came out with a while back?  I was thinking that might be worth picking up.  If I remember correctly it had a MST3K commentary on it too.

Got that! Nelson does the commentary solo, so no group dynamic like at Rifftrax or Film Crew. Still good. "Okey, the cocain headache kicks in...now!" Also, he has the first 8 plans! One involves giant squrrels...

The commentary track would be interesting, but I tend to ignore films that have been colorized.  I do think that some of the colorized DVD covers look interesting, but prefer to watch the film the way it was made.

There are probably a dozen or so reviews that I want to update.  My goal is going to be one per month.  The next candidate for updating is "Robot Monster,"  though "Starcrash" is also calling my name.  "Starcrash" seems to be another bad movie that I can watch over and over, but still find it entertaining.

I'd look forward to either one -- "Starcrash" I only recently found, but "Robot Monster"'s dialogue is . . . UNIQUE!!
PS:  Thankyou for your (continuing) help in understanding fonts & iconography --
