I saw this last week for the first time and aside from the ten generation print that they must have used to strike a DVD master, it seriously creeped me out. The director is credited as "Allen Grunwald" but I did some research and found that Mario Cainio directed it.

Barbara Steele was great in it ~ what did everyone else think?
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

I have it on "50 Classic Horror Movies" set..and I think it's a classic as well! Barbra Stelle is truly the #1 Queen of Horror ..in my book!
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)

Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

The Burgomaster

I also have this in a Mill Creek 50 movie pack.  It didn't blow me away, but I didn't hate it either.
"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

An awesome flick, one of Barbara's most memorable.  I love the scene of her with the mangled half of her face covered by her hair   -beautifully creepy!
