Yesterday I bought I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE from the bookstore, and after that i showed to a friend at her work. She mistook it for a porn, because of the cover. So I thought, "O sh!t, whats my mom gonna think when she picks me up?" So I had to wrap it up in the extra shirt I was wearing. When I got home, I was searching around for other sex exploitation films that are out there. 99 WOMEN looked like a good 70s exploitation movie, while AMAZON JAIL just looked stupid. And as for BARE BEHIND BARS, well, it looked REALLY raunchy.......even for me. And then there as this one where these people were forced to litereally eat sh!t. I think it was called SALO. I think Ill pass on that one too.

So whats your favorite sexploitation film, or whats one thats worth mentioning?

I didnt know that was a sexploitation. I've been meaning to get that one, though. I hear that in one of the scenes they used an actual corpse and it caused a lot of contrivesy. By the way, where did you find yours?

You can get the uncut version with the hardcore sex inserts off of Amazon in addition to the version that cuts out the hardcore porn inserts but leaves everything else alone.

Well, the title of this thread certainly resurrected a few issues, but I digress

Mutant fishmen with a yen for local beachgirls, in Humanoids From the Deep
Even midgets & men aren't safe from El Topo
A busty blond has a rather icky encounter with an enamored fifteen foot maggot, in Galaxy of Terror
Legend of the Wolf Woman (Spoiler Alert: No Wolf, she's just crazy)
Invisible Dead - Women attacked by strings & zoom lenses
Invisible Maniac - a group of juvenile delinquents are terrorized by innuendos
Huntress: Spirit of the Night - After an encounter with a flashlight & burnt film effect, a silicon endowed redhead presents innuendo with black contact lenses
"Science Fiction & Nostalgia have become the same thing!" - T Bone Burnett
The world runs off money, even for those with a warped sense of what the world is.

Definitely a corpse used for the eyeball scene, and the version I have does contain
HardCore inserts (BUT it's also definitely not the actress). Still a great film though.
Those sleazy 70s films from Box Office International all come to mind as films I wouldn't
want my mom or fiance catching me watching.
Can you imagine explaing Olga's House of Shame?

I have I Spit On Your Grave.  Although it did have a sex scene, it was more bloody that sexual.  Speaking of which:

Unfaithful.  After seen that movie, I'd do Diane Lane.

Teenage Catgirls in Heat.  I have the DVD, but it's been a while since I seen it thanks for reminding me

Baise Moi.  This was kind of like Thelma and Louise in french.  But this one had real actual sex scenes; penetration and all.  Another thing I learned is never let an angry woman stick a gun up your ass.
We all know Bill is a little nuts, but George has actually tasted them.

Baise Moi.  This was kind of like Thelma and Louise in french.  But this one had real actual sex scenes; penetration and all.

In the 1970s mainstream cinema was experiencing a period of anarchy, the likes of which hadn't been seen since the first quarter of the century (pre-Hayes Code, but that's another story).  The decade saw the release of the first true hardcore pornographic films:  Deep Throat, The Devil In Miss Jones, Behind the Green Door, etc.  At the time, it was predicted that soon Hollywood itself would begin featuring blow jobs, penetration, and so on.  A merger of plot, special effects, and porn.  And while certain underground films exploited pornographic elements (the works of Andy Warhol and John Waters for example), that never really happened in mainstream American film.

But in the 1990s, France revitalized this forgotten concept, making a series of serious, dramatic works that embraced all manner of taboo, including hardcore elements.  Among these, though probably the poorest quality example, is Baise Moi.  You should also checkout Romance, Fat Girl.  Hell, even Bertolucci's The Dreamers qualifies along these lines.

But allow me to be a bit snobby for a moment.  These films have nothing to do with exploitation in the vein of I Spit on Your Grave.  And actually, ISOYG's distributors merely took advantage of the exploitation market to sell a product that was sincerely supposed to be inspirational (albeit in a convoluted revenge killing spree sort of way).  Seriously.  If you picked up the Millennium Edition DVD, listen to the commentary.  Meir Zarchi intended to make a film called Day of the Woman, a tribute to a woman he and his son found naked and beaten in a park near their home.  But I digress...

If you are looking for "real" exploitation, 60s-70s-style, start by viewing the works of Jess Franco (sometimes Jesus Franco), particularly Vampyros Lesbos, Venus in Furs and 99 Women.  If Franco is too "artsie" for you, and if you are feeling particularly sadistic, it doesn't get much worse (ever) than the Ilsa trilogy.  If you can swallow Ilsa without feeling the least bit dirty, check out the Japanese film Guinea Pig (the first one).  But, if you find you prefer things along the semi-artsie side, one of my personal favorite directors of the era was Alejandro Jodorowsky.  LilCerberus already mentioned El Topo, but for your consideration be sure to check out Holy Mountain and Fando y Lis as well.

I can give you a list of thousands of titles running off in any direction (as I've completely wasted my life on cinema), so KYGOTC, if you want more films give me a better idea of what you like and what you don't.

Considering the original poster expressed concerns about having to hide movies from their Big Bad Mama I'm not sure this thread is entirely appropriate, after all should we really be encouraging them?  For all we know this Spaced Out poster could be a minor, how Creepozoids is that?

I know it would be a real Devil's Nightmare even though there's One Million AC/DC other reasons for such concern.  But, lest the lurkers think us Inhumanoid monsters or, worse, a gaggle of Conquest seeking Galactic Gigolos,  perhaps we should point out that sexploitation movies are as absurd as, well, Slave Girls from Beyond Infinity!

Not that I'm looking to turn this into some Bizarre Cinderella 2000 Fairy Tales morality fable, just saying it's a real Arena out there.  No need to give concerned citizens reason to come witch hunting like some Hybrid Deathstalker Barbarian Queen Countess Dracula bloodsucker, right?

Just don't want any lurkers to get the impression we're some sort of Frankenstein's Castle of Freaks here.   :bouncegiggle:

That said Frankenstein vs. The Creature From Blood Cove wasn't bad.  I'd also recommend the 70s cult classic Flesh Gordon.  Though I should probably point out Flesh Gordon 2 is less gratuitous while being slightly more offensive.  Girl Slaves of Morgana le Fay is also not bad.

PS:  I know DodgingGrunge- an evil evil evil evil evil EVIL, oooooooOOOooooo, evil evil EVIL so-and-so if ever the were an evil evil evil EVIL- posted a meaningful post before I could get my fluffy bunny post posted but that will not thwart my vain attempts at humor.  Now take a karma point you evil evil evil evil EVIL ooooOOOOOoooo!!!

Egad!  I didn't intend to do anything meaningful, honest.  Corruption was my sole intent.  Sorry about that, everyone. :teddyr:

haha, man I HATE when people call stuff like I Spit on your Grave or  Last House on the Left porno, that always annoyed me.  Sex and the City has more sexual content than those films if you ask me. I actually just did an informal philosophy essay over here on the definition of porn, porn is a concept that's a lot more complicated than most people think.

I consider a lot of 70's hardcore porn just sexploitation films with explicit sex by the way. Jamie Gillis and Zebedy Colt are some of my fav porno legends, they could really act (even better than so-called actors in big movies). Porn used to be actual films before, nowadays watching porn is just like watching a Skateboard video clip or an episode of Fear Factor.

the ghoul

"Zombie Lake" immediately comes to mind for me.  The movie may not be all that high on the exploitation scale, but I love the scene near the beginning of the film where the girl is swimming in the lake.  Very hot!  I also love Ursula Andress in "Slave of the Cannibal God."
