what is this zombie movie called!!!!

I am trying to find a movie from the 80's. It's about a familly that moves to a new town. and the kids start at the high school there, and bla bla the teachers turn out to be possessed and the parents too. The town and/or school they are at is called steadmoore, steedmore... something like that.... Anyone got a clue?

 Are you sure they were zombies? It sounds kinda like Tobe Hooper's INVADERS from MARS(1986).

It also kind of sounds like the forgotten Wes Craven movie, Invitation to Hell.  Were any of the bla-bla's you mentioned involving an evil country club?  It was called Steaming Springs...

It may also be STRANGE BEHAVIOR(1980) or STRANGE INVADERS(1984),which all have the same basic story line...and,oddly enough,feature Louise Fletcher...(the crabby looking women in the pic above!)

Even if I havn't found the movie I am looking for, I am collecting titles! :)
Nope there's no club in this movie that I recollect. It takes place at the high school mostly. I wish I could remember more but I saw it like 15 years ago! It was not a good movie by the way, but for some reason it stuck. (sorta)

If it took place at a high school it's probably IFM, but this is a great list of new crap high-school horrormovies to track down!  Like the real thin wasn't bad enough!
