UFO: Target Earth (1974) - As films about world mysteries are concerned most are informative and/or entertaining. This one might be slightly informative for the 70's but UFO theology has gone beyond the small bits this story gives us. It's the story about some guy who's curious about this phenomenon and does his own investigation talking to locals, professors, and military to get answers. Then he finds a female friend who is a psychic and feels the alien presence. They go to a lake to research some leads they have about the mystery. While by a wooded lake the female has some kind of connection with the alien presense under the lake and everyone goes a little nuts by the lake. They spend way to much time filming rotary phones, driving around, riding a boat. Well, just about anything to make this a 80 minute film. It's also a ultra low budget film. The camera point of view on different rotary telephones ringing must be because this is a very talky film without any UF0's nor visible aliens. Well, they sort of have an alien presence at the end of the film. Bad acting, story, and special effects that give us nothing. Read the reviews at imdb by clicking the title link about. They are quite accurate reviews.  Anyone here on the messageboard could have done better with this subject.

  (2 out of 10 Stars) Don't even bother looking for it. I watched it for you. Ouch ! ! !

This poster is the best part.

The Burgomaster

I watched this a few weeks ago and found it to be a mind-numbing experience.  It's in one of my Mill Creek 50 Movie Packs (Sci-fi Classics maybe?  I can't remember).  It would make a good cheapo, sci-fi, can't-believe-how-bored-I-am double feature with Bill Rebane's THE ALPHA INCIDENT.

Burgomaster, your right this was very very rough viewing. How about that music. It might have been the best part of the film.

Also have a copy on my Mills Creek 50 Pack: Nightmare Worlds

The Burgomaster

That's it . . . NIGHTMARE WORLDS . . . I knew it was in one of those 50 movie packs.  By the way, I just picked up two more 50 movie sets for VERY cheap money.  I got COMEDY CLASSICS and ACTION CLASSICS for less than $11.00 each!
