Look out for LOCKOUT!

Let me say from the start that I rarely get independent films.  IFC is the only movie channel on my satellite package, and I find maybe one out of ten of their  movies palatable.  So when I saw a little indie horror film called LOCKOUT, I decided to give it  a go.
  This movie stunk to the highest heavens.  The plot was incomprehensible, the acting lame, the gore fake, and the women not that pretty.  The haunted house they moved into wasn't even scary.  I mean, when the biggest shiver of the whole movie comes from an infected spider bite on a guy's finger, there is a problem.  The storyline was one of those "How much of this really happened and how much was just a dream?" kind of plots, with all kinds of subplots that were never explained.  I'm gonna rewatch THE RING next time instead of renting an indie horror film.

But I do appreciate the warnings on lame indies, rather lame stuff in general.
