Which was your favorite film?

Star Wars: Attack of the Clones
Lord of the Rings
Harry Potter
Spiderman

Cullen

My preferences out of the four you've list, from least to greatest, would be:

4: "Star Wars: Attack of the Clones" -- This is here only because I haven't seen it yet.  It'll probably end up third over all.

3: "Harry Potter" -- I liked the movie, but I might have liked it a bit more if I hadn't read the books.  Plus, I don't think there was any kind of personal investment in the film.  The others (that I've seen) were done out of love of the original.  This...wasn't.

Not a bad movie, but not great.

And, in a tie for first, "Spider-man" and "Lord of the Rings.”  I was going to put Spidey second to LotR, but I just can't.  I've been a fan of Spider-man for most of my life, and seeing him on the big screen, no matter what changes were done to his character, was an enormous thrill.  This was the best Superhero movie ever made.

LotR, however, touched me deeply.  I've seen it three times, and it still hasn't lost its appeal.  It is, as far as I'm concerned, THE fantasy movie.  I rank it with "Casablanca" and John Carpenter's "The Thing" as one of the few movies I can watch repeatedly.

Lee

1. Spider-Man-Awesome flick! Raimi and crew did an amazing job.

2. Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones-Enough coolness to put this movie in a close second.

3.Lord Of The Rings-The last 20 minutes were awesome but the rest was just irritating.

Harry Potter-Haven't seen it and I don't plan on seeing it.

LORD OF THE RINGS as my number one favorite, the second would be SPIDER-MAN.

I just can't resist a Peter Jackson flick.

J.R.

1. LOTR- "No one throws a dwarf!". I've heard about three people (this includes Lee and Richard Roeper) say it's a snoozer. Everyone else in the Western Hemishphere loves it and considers it the greatest fantasy film ever. The "snoozer" crowd not only have bad taste, but are in fact bad people.

2. Spider-Man- Raimi pulled off the impossible by making a kickin' comic adaption.  There was a little kid in front of me yelling, "Look out, Spider-Man!" and for the first time in years I felt the same way.

3. Episode 2- Yoda got down, we got some cool battle scens, Jar-Jar is canned and Jake Lloyd seems to have dropped off the face of the Earth. If the love story was anywhere above nauseating this would be right up there with the originals.

4. Harry Potter- A British kid in a poncho riding a broom does not work for me. There were a few scenes similar to ones  in LOTR that the latter pulled off much better.

And we cannot rule out "America's Sweethearts", "A Beautiful Mind" and "Pearl Harbor" as fantaies.

I didn't say it was irreversable. You can improve yourself, perhaps with a book such as Chicken Soup For The Soul or Practical Solutions To Everyday Problems, or you could watch LOTR again and come to your senses.

How about I shove a pitchfork up your ass, DICKHEAD!!!
