I HAS A BUCKET TOO!!!!!!!!!!!

A Photobucket page, that is, from whence I got this cool pic to be my new avatar.  I got tired of people confusing me with Menard every time I posted!!!!

The object in the photo is the skull of a Mosasaur Clidastes that I found and excavated back in 1997.  It is to this day the most complete fossil I have ever found.

That's seriously cool!  I'll have to show my kids that tomorrow, they love fossils and my oldest even talks of being a paleontologist when she grows up.  How big is the skull?

The skull of the Clidastes was nearly three feet long.  I found a Tylosaurus a few years later that was twice as big, but his skull had been shattered and scattered by floods and we recovered it piecemeal.  We estimate that critter was about 48 feet long when alive, and his reassembled skull is nearly six feet long!
