DIAMONDS OF KILIMANDJARO (1983) This Jess Franco Spain/France co-production is about some stones that some people want and a lost girl that they are looking for, but don't really want to bring back. They go deep into Africa where the young girl crashed landed with a relative years ago. Now grown up she plays with her animal friends like rhinos and such. One of the expedition shoots one of the tribes people and they set out to get them for this and for trying to take the precious stones. This one is worse than GOLDEN TEMPLE AMAZONS which Jess Franco assisted in directing.

 (4 out of 10 Stars) Just kinda dull.

Haven't seen the Mines of Kilimanjaro, but it would be hard to be worst. I gave it extra stars a 4 out of 10 Stars because it's a Jess Franco film.   :teddyr:

Jess Franco is my favorite unredeemably bad director.  He has this way of confusing you, the viewer, by framing the occasional lesbian scene so artfully you almost have to reconsider the verdict.  But I concur, everything Kilimanjaro is deplorably bad, even by his standards.  But I own three editions of Vampiros Lesbos, so what value is my opinion?  :teddyr:
