Mr. DS

I started watching this film a few years ago when it was on television and actually kind of got wrapped up in the realism of the whole thing.  I didn't see the ending but after seeing it today, I was a bit disappointed.  Basically went from a real feel to the film to a standard Hollywood ending.  Anyone else see this flick?

I remember this film.
I lasted about 20 minutes before I shut it off and took it back to the video store where I lied to the clerk and told him the disc was defective.

Big thumbs down.

  Rip off of Cannibal Holocaust.  Well, sans the cannibals, but you get the idea.  No me gusta.

I hated the movie so much I broke the cassette with my bare hands.  No, really.

i wouldnt compare it to cannibal holocaust even without the cannibals. the only thing even relevant is the reels that were discovered. i liked the whole search for the jersey devil but the reality ending was definetly a drag though.

really p**sed me off there was no monster.

I apparently had the opposite reaction to the film.  I remember hearing about it about the same time that Blair Witch came out.  After being seriously disappointed with BW, I sought this one out.  I actually enjoyed it quite a bit.

SPOILER

It's been a while since I saw it last, but the narrator is the murderer, correct?  I rather liked the twist to the end of the film.  You believe you've been watching this documentation about what happened to the people looking for the jersey devil when in actuality you have been watching a killer's taped memoirs of the murders.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.
