I am re-reading Steve Alten's MEG.  When I first read the book about seven years ago, I remember reading that it was SOON TO BE A MAJOR MOTION PICTURE right on the cover.  The current version I am reading was re-printed in 2005 and it says on the cover: SOON TO BE A MAJOR MOTION PICTURE FROM NEW LINE CINEMA.  When is this thing coming out?  I want to see a 70 foot shark eat a T-Rex!

Last I heard the project was dropped yet again.

I'd like to see one as well, having read the first 3 books in that series and being fascinated with sharks the way I am.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

With the development problems and the hundreds of Sci-Fi channel shark movies, kind of looks like that killed the sub-genre...

Meg is a film that I was looking forward to quite a bit.  I've never read the book, but the idea is awesome and sounds like something that is right up my alley.

Nick Nunziata of Chud.com was working on bringing Meg to the big screen but I think it's in developmental hell at the moment.  I haven't heard much word on the film in about a year or so now.  Last piece of information I saw was a sample drawing of a huge wave with a surfer and within the wave was a gigantic shark.  Very cool.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.
