This is weird, my Windows Desktop clock used to just display the time, not it displays the time and, underneath, the DAY and I have no idea why or how to change it back.  Did some google searches and couldn't find anything on it.  Weird...

Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks

Sure, switch to Linux.  :tongueout:

It's been a long time since I've monkeyed with a Windows desktop, but as I recall, if you right click the task bar you can pull up a bunch of options.  It seems to me that somewhere in there you're able to configure how (and if) the clock is displayed.

What you need to do is put your pointer on the top of the task bar so that you see arrows pointing up and down.  Then drag the task bar down until you get it to the desired size.  You may need to unlock the task bar first, if you do then right click the task bar and then see if Lock the taskbar is checked or not.  If it is, then uncheck it.

Isn't that the one where I have to type in everything I want to do?  (Or was that Unix?  Can't remember)

Ahh, nothing like going back to a DOS type system!  :)

Ahh, think I figured out what the cause was... I was running an old game (Chaos Overlords) and it runs in a 800 by 600 full screen window by default.  I guess that affect the taskbar, but when I reboot my computer, it went back to normal.
