DRGIGGLES

i just saw this movie at a discount movie store just wondering if it is worth buying.  Has anyone seen it that could tell me a little about it?

Is it the the one from Australian or the Italian one shown on MST3K?

DRGIGGLES

this would be the Australian one aka "Turkey Shoot"

Well I personally enjoyed it. It's fun/goofy little exploitation film with plenty of gore, nudity and explosions to satisfy any genre film fan.

I believe this featured in MST3K... I might watch it.

I liked it alot.  It has elements of women in prison movies and "Clonus" type cheapo sci fi.  The bedspring thingy they torture him in is classic.

the one from MST was aka Escape From The Bronx, the sequel to 1990: Bronx Warriors.  That one is great, not as good as Bronx Warriors, but it's a hoot and Mark Gregory is cool as hell.

I saw the Escape 2000 with Steve Railsback on a late late show years ago when they still did that sort of thing on television and loved it.  It was chopped, of course, but still extraordinarily violent.  I'd love to track it down again.  Going to have to keep my eyes open.

The Burgomaster

This movie is really terrible . . . I mean REALLY terrible.  However, if you must see it, make sure you get the uncut version.

Oh was that the one when they kept saying "Leave the bronx!"?

Cannon Fodder

I actually watched this very movie a few days ago, under its original title' Turkey Shoot' and had a ball with it. Hammy acting, cheap sets, hilariously fake gore, gratuitous nudity and violence, a daft plot, poncey villains, a sweaty Steve Railsback, dodgy Australian accents, an ultra cheesy synthesiser score and best of all a completely incongruous wolf-man shows up halfway through the movie. Make sure you watch the uncut version though.
