Jason Statham in another driving film?  I could have done without that.  Also, Joan Allen?  Seriously????

Apparently this thing is real as some highly regarded film sites got studio copies of the scripts.  I don't quite know how I feel about this as a remake.  Hell, I still feel the original holds up well!

My thoughts exactly, Ash.

As for the  people who are remaking this film, seemingly the only thing they understand is the title. From the plot synopsis, they certainly don't seem to understand what made the original such a great film.
