I am just curious to know something. Am I the only person on the earth sick enough to have not only tracked down, but purchased a version of Manos: The Hands Of Fate without the MST3K running commentary? If you guys thought the film was bad enough on MST3K, you guys should see what the show producers cut out of the episode, there's a fair amount of material missing there.

I can believe it, Double B. After all, they (at Comedy Central)didn't want both Tom Servo and Crow badly O.D.'ed and short curcuited from a massive overload of one bad movie alone.
Thanks for warning us about the sheer cheesiness that's retained in the uncut DVD version of this film:we all here sincerely appreciate it.

How did you get hold of it?  and what was left out?  call me sick but i somehow would like to know this.

You can get a copy at http://www.sinistercinema.com. I've been meaning to for a while, but still haven't gotten around to it.

MST3K is like training wheels for bad movie fans.  That said, even I don't know if I can tolerate Manos alone.

Actually, I bouoght my copy at www.somethingweirdvideo.com.....they have all sorts of crazy things over there, i.e. the infamous Basket Case and so on.

Some MST3K DVDs have the original version of the movie as well as the "SOL Version."
