Scary Movie Franchise

I have a theory on this franchise, the odd numbered ones are good, and the even numbered ones are bad.  By my calculations, we are due for a good one soon.

By the way, try watching "Lover's Lane" and seeing Anna Faris do a slasher movie without the jokes.

Scary Movie?
They, IMO, wore out their welcome/novelty with the first one.
They're taking a page from Mel Brooks and beating a joke to death.
The worst part is that it was never a really funny joke to begin with.
That's just my $.02

I have to play the devil's advocate here and say I like parts 1, 2 and 3 but I think spoof flicks at this point need to stop. Epic Movie, Date Movie, what else.  The novelty has indeed worn off.

I liked the first 2.

Part 3 was okay, but I wouldn't buy the dvd. 

4 I didn't even bother watching. 

I like the Airplane and Naked Gun flicks.  BASEketball was good too.

As far as Epic Movie and Date Movie, both looked dumb and I didn't even watch them.

Part 1 was pretty funny stuff.  Part 2 was a bit underrated IMO and featured a hilarious Chris Elliott performance.   Part 3 was good but not great.

Part 4 was terrible.

2 was great.  Plus they reference Torgo in it.
