With my computer down most of the time this week, due to renovation in my office, I listen to my music only in the car... yeh, this is what I was listening to today while picking up Francine the cat supplies, CAPTAIN BEEFHEART and HIS MAGIC BAND's Strictly Personal:

I will be writing an Amazon review of this one, as I tend to do to free myself from a record, or just for fun... this record is a mess, but still very interesting, and I think the closing line of "Beatle Bones And Smokin' Stones," "Strawberry feels forever..." is a tribute, not a chide.

Punk O Rama 10- Overall a decent enough album.  Features several punk groups, including Pennywise, Rancid and Bad Religion.

And Out Come the Wolves by Rancid.  Fun stuff.
"The path to Heaven runs through miles of clouded Hell."

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.
It's where my demons hide, it's where my demons hide.

25 Years of Absolute Pleasure: The Rocky Horror Picture Show- Great soundtrack to a fun movie.

Fozzy by Fozzy.  Mostly covers of heavy metal music with about 2 new songs.
"The path to Heaven runs through miles of clouded Hell."

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.
It's where my demons hide, it's where my demons hide.

Superhero by Stephen Lynch.    Hilarious stuff.

WWF The Music, Volume 5- Pretty much the best track is Motorhead's "The Game."
"The path to Heaven runs through miles of clouded Hell."

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.
It's where my demons hide, it's where my demons hide.

Mmm... Maiden.  I gotta listen to more Maiden.

In the meantime, I'm listening to Michael Suby's score to 2006's The Zodiac.  It's a very low-key, brooding score, heavy on piano, without most of the spooky tremors or metal-on-metal shrieks that one expects in most horror soundtracks.

(Been on a Maiden binge today at work in case you're wondering.  :teddyr:  )

Lately, I've been listening to Protest the Hero and Arch Enemy, with a little Nothingface and In Flames in between.  Yeah, I'll admit I got the new AE CD from a friend before release, but I intend to buy it when it does come out.

I Stoled This Record by Cledus T. Judd.  Underrated performer.

Stop Making Sense by Talking Heads.
