Well, I lost my toenail...

For those who've been following my previous post about dropping a pan on my toe (http://www.badmovies.org/forum/index.php/topic,115720.0/topicseen.html), it's time for an update.

I lost my toenail!

You see, I guess the injury had caused my toe to swell so much that it almost pushed the toenail right off.  It was getting more and more loose, so I just finally yanked it off.  Actually, it sounds painful, but it didn't really hurt.  Like I said, it had been almost "pushed off" by the swelling anyway.

I tell you, there is something REALLY surreal about looking at your own detached toenail.  I kept turning it over and over, like, "whoa, this is weird.."

Then there's my toe, that is REALLY surreal, looking at a toe with no nail.  It's red, but a solidish rule, kind of a like strawberry jam.  Neatly enough, it doesn't hurt.   I've been putting band aids with anti-biotic cream on it to keep it healing okay.
