So I won't be able to catch this.  I'll be in Atlanta from the 5th of October til the 7th but the film is only playing on the 4th.  Otherwise I'll have no chance to see it.  Oh well, maybe someone here will be able to.

Not only is it going to be re-released at the theaters but it's a completely new transfer.  Digitally remastered but I'm unclear on whether it will be shown in HD.

Hope someone gets a chance to see it!

Bah, why would you want to see it in HD?

Anyway, here's the link people will need.

It is being shown at a theatre about 20 minutes away from me.  I haven't decided if I'll go or not yet though... Hmm.

I'd love to go, and probably will, but only one showing -- 7:30 on a Thursday night? -- seems kind of peculiar.

i'm so there, it's playing at a theater right arond the corner from me. I went for the Exorcist re-release and it was really great. I wish they would release more classics

Jim H,

Thanks for the providing the link.  I had posted after being sleep deprived and had forgotten to do so.

It is a strange release time...a Thursday at 7:30, but it'd be worth it to me if I was near a theater showing it.  My wife and I are talking about going to Georgia on the 4th, the day that it's playing.  We'll be staying about 45 minutes from Atlanta so I might have a chance to see it but my chances are still quite slim.

I'lll be at the Christiansburg, VA showing. That's about a 30 minute drive for me.

Apparently, the screening used low quality digital projectors and they had the film at the wrong aspect ratio.  Too bad.
