Ok, now I'm gonna have nightmares about that freaky little humpty-dumpty guy chasing me around the house at night, making those moron sounds. :teddyr:

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

Man that is great.  My wife worked with a girl from Czech Republic who would always bring back Kinder chocolate from Europe.  That stuff is delicious despite the creepy humpty dumpty guy.

Also, Karma for RC for bringing back memories of mothers protesting every rock album that came out.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

Hey, 80s people are at least one step up from 70s people with their leisure suits and discos and their wacky breakfast cereals:

Derf, I've actually eaten and LIKED that cereal.

Me, too. I collected most of the little plastic Freakies figurines and magnets (I went through a lot of that stuff). That cereal, along with Quisp, King Vitaman, Pebbles (both varieties), Sugar Crisp, and the unholy quartet of Frankenberry, Count Chocula, Boo Berry and Fruit Brute (yes, I ate Fruit Brute) fueled much of my sugar-saturated childhood.

Wow.  I thought I was the only one left alive who remembered Fruit Brute.  I vaguely remember Quisp and King Vitamin.  I still scarf the hell out of some Cocoa Pebbles.  Never was too big on Sugar Crisp, but I ate it.  My thing was and still is Cap'n Crunch.  Either the peanut butter or the Crunch Berries.
I gotta give ya more karma for the Brute tho.

We only get half credit for the Unholy Quartet.  It was actually a Quintet Destruction.  we forgot the Yummy Mummy.

Quisp has its very own website:

http://www.quisp.com

It's available at a few places, and online ($5 for one 9 oz. box!)

Loved it as a kid.

Addendum:
As for "What was wrong with 80's people?? "  (and 70's too"
Lots of bad drugs.  The 1970s & 80s are what happen when you do drugs, kids.  Please, don't do drugs.

I missed Yummy Mummy. It came out around 1987, so I guess that makes another thing wrong with 80s people: gay cereal spokesmonsters. I guess I'd outgrown most of the extra sugary cereals by that time.

But I will totally agree that Cap'n Crunch with Crunchberries is awesome stuff.

The wife and I were recently cleaning out my in-law's house as they just recently moved to a small apartment. Now, my mother in law is known for being a notorious food hoarder who will throw nothing away (we actually found a can of beans that expired in the late 70's). Lo and behold, back in a dusty corner of the back shelves, I found a box of Yummy Mummy! On a whim (and because the wife wasn't there watching me) I decided to see if those old cancer inducing preservatives REALLY stood the test of time... C'mon, If I have ingested MRE's and lived, what's a box of 20 year old cereal gunna do to me? Turns out, just a bad taste in your mouth and a mild case of the trots! I don't know what more than 1 bowl would do to you, as my wife interrupted my impromptu science experiment so unfortunately the world may never know if 20 year old cereal causes spontaneous genetic mutation.

On an even sadder note, there was no prize in there even though the box clearly stated there was. Although it may have disintegrated over time and I ate it.
I see you are playing stupid... Looks like you're winning
