ID this 80s teen comedy

I've been trying to remember the title of a dumb 80s comedy that used to turn up on cable a lot. It started out with a couple guys at a military academy breaking itno an office and getting caught. The nerd of the pair sees the computer and exclaims "Wow! The new Amiga 1000!". They end up working at a hotel for the summer. I only remember two other parts; the main girl, a cute blonde, is showering outside by the pool and one of the guys is spying on her, then he falls into the shower and she squats down, covering up. He hands her the soap and guiltily slinks away. At the end of the movie there's a paegant or fashion show going on, with a walkway across the middle of the big round pool and the stars sneak into the video control room for some reason (maybe to catch the bad guys on tape, there's always bad guys) and the nerd says "It's like 1984 in here!" and the girl asks "What do you mean? It's (whatever year it was set in)".

 Can anyone tell me the name of this film?

 I *THINK* it had the word "hotel" in the title, but I'm not positive.

The only one I can think of is the stinker "The Hotel New Hampshire" staring Nastassja Kinski. Do you remember a girl in a bear suit? If I remember Rob Lowe was in it too.
If this is the movie you saw you may want to have your eyes checked for any permanent damage.

Nope, not Hotel New Hampshire either. This was a goofy comedy.

By chance this movie wasn't The Rosebud Beach Hotel was it? It had like Peter Scolari-he ran the hotel-in it and I believe Fran Dreschel-who brings in call girls to help turn a profit-was also in it. I remember something about a guy planning to blow up the hotel.

I know I know this movie and it is killing me that I cannot think of it, but this one came in to mind for some reason.

I don't think it was The Rosebud Beach Hotel either. I don't recall the one I'm thinking of having any well-known people in it.

 I've also ruled out Private Resort with Johnny Depp and Summer Job where one of the employees puts blue dye in the supervisor's bubble bath and turns her purple.

 It *MIGHT* be Hot Resort, but the CNDB doesn't have any description of the nude scenes and I can't find a good plot summary for it.

You know you could be right on that one. I remember that title now and seeing it and all I can remeber of it is Bronson Pinchot and Marcy Walker were in it. I know I have it on video but it is packed away since I have recently moved in the past couple of months. I am dying to know if this is the movie now or what it is , it is driving me crazy.

When you find it, please let me know. It used to turn up on cable a lot and I used to watch it just for the blonde in the outdoor shower.
