all I remember was that when she went up to the attic she became Mrs. Alerdice.  Her husband went up there and she threw him out the window!! Very cool

"Burnt Offerings" is the movie you're looking for (and way to spoil the end of the movie, dude!  Just kidding.  Kinda)

                   "Burnt Offerings" was a rare Dan Curtis theatrical film,which isn't a good movie,but it does have its moments,and both Oliver Reed and Bette Davis do bite the dust in this one.
                     What else can you say about one movie that kills off two veteran screen greats(on-screen)?!

I'm sorry I ruined the ending for anyone.  It was all I could remember! Karen Black was a great schizophrenic.. Thanks for the info. I saw it on tv in like 86 or so
