I knew from the moment I saw the teaser posted for this movie on this forum that I would have to see it, and this weekend I took the plunge.  This is one of the most delightfully bad movies I have ever seen!!!  The mutant sheep are extremely freaky, because they look like . . . well, they look like normal sheep until they start eating people!! The repeated scenes of sheep happily munching dismembered human bodies while happily bleating is one of the most unsettling things I have ever seen in any film.  The special effects are high-budget and pretty creepy at times, the human/sheep mutations (were-sheep?) are really pretty scary.  The plot is fairly simple and basically ignores any detailed attempt to explain how and why these monstrosities were created (the blanket excuse of "genetic engineering" seems to cover all sins!).  The bad guy is a pretty one-dimensional character, and the hero and heroine are given some memorably cheesy lines.  There is no nudity or sex in the film (except when one bad guy gets his . . . . .  um . . .  member bitten off by a sheep (that scene made me wince!), but there are implied human/sheep relations.  In short, this is a well-done, campy, and altogether bizarre horror film, definitely worth the rental fee.

My favorite part of the flick was the reaction of the evil sheep going over the cliff behind the wheel of the pick up truck.   :teddyr:

Indeed!  This was a fun flick.  Although, I hated having to explain to all the people I work with while I was buying it that it was a horror/comedy...

I found it boring, you must wait almost an hour to see the first corpse, and the characters are so silly...I didn't like it...

It's a a horror comedy so you've got to expect the characters to be a bit silly.  Especially when dealing with killer sheep.  :tongueout:

I want to see this.  I saw a commercial for it and was like, "It's up my alley."

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.

Funny.  That's what I said about Shaun of the Dead.  I love it when I'm right.  I can't wait to see this movie!
