Found this resource today, while trying to track down where I had read Guy Endore's "Day of the Dragon."  It turned out to be in a Hitchcock compendium of stories, I still remember "Slime."

I read that book in H.S.! Slime was a classic Blob story. Yeah, i can see where they got the idea for Reign of Fire. Now, i feel so old...................
