I saw this in the theater as a teen. My friends and I were appalled that a movie could portray a "metalhead" (as we called it) as such a wimp. Still, we loved it, especially when we spotted the local band's (Possessed's Seven Churches) album in the movie. Since most of the theater was metal fans, a cheer went up when we saw it. Hell...I think a member or two of the band might have been in there in the theater as well.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

One thing I forgot about this movie: it's "awesome" soundtrack...Fastway I think it was.  I remember being vary into Metal at the time and when this soundtrack came out, my friends and I were like "who?" ...but we got the soundtrack anyway.  Some of the songs weren't bad (well as far as 80s nerf metal went at the time anyway) - some of them went with the scenes pretty well, "hey you...feelin' down...Tear down the walls!" during Skippy's poster-tearing scene.  I remember the first three songs were good and the rest were pretty unmemorable.  Funny that both Gene and Ozzy were in the movie but I don't recall either of them being on the soundtrack.  Anyway, cool review.
