Forrest J. Ackerman..the father of FAMOUS MONSTERS saved my life.

Back in 1969...I discoverd FAMOUS MONSTERS of FILMLAND magazine...and in between drunken beatings from my father and sitting in foster homes..FM and FJA -were my only escape from the real life horror that was my early childhood. It also began my life long love of horror films...which continues to this day. I STILL collect old FM's-and I PROUD to be one of the original "monster kids".

Bless you FJA,the Ackermonster,4sJ,4E,Dr.Ackula!!!!

I dunno who Bobbie is..but I sure wish I could post my signed copy of FM 1968 Fearbook...!

FJA..in 1939 at an early Sci-Fi cnvention!!!

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

I think I bought one of the last editions of "Famous Monsters" which I paid most of my holiday money for and I lost the *&^%$ thing. It had a picture of Ronald Lacey as Toht from Raiders having a sudden body melt.
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.
