Have any of you western lovers seen this?  It stars Liam Neeson and Pierce Brosnan as two civil war veterans with a grudge between them.

I was surprised to catch the tail end of this on the Hallmark Channel the other night (newly released movies don't usually get on commercial tv for a couple of years).

Update - After checking at Rotten Tomatoes I see why it got on commercial tv so fast, it was only released at 52 theaters and only made $287,772 at the box office.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

I saw the preview a while back and was intrigued.  Didn't realize it had even been released...that's abyssmal box office.

Believe it or not I was just at Blockbuster yesterday and almost checked it out. It looks and sounds like a good one.

It's on my poser b-movie list of films to view.

Seen it already. It's a pretty good film, but the plot is paper thin, Liam Neeson pursuing Brosnan's for 90 minutes. It tries to fill the  blanks with character development, but you can see the stitches, if you know what I mean.

Maybe the problem is that the plot and its moral is pretty obvious from the start. Despite this, it's well shot and well acted, could have become a cult film if the filmmakers had been more bold with that material.
Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.
