I personally wasn't disappointed by AVP--I hadn't held out much hope for it actually, and the PG-13 rating puzzled me.  But the film overall wasn't too bad.
I am actually looking forward to Requiem.  And it's rated R.

I liked AvP also...I think I am one of the few...but it was an entertaining movie. I am also looking forward to this one but just wish they had picked a different release date.

I dislike the first AvP very much. PG-13 was the nail in the coffin for me. Maybe because I'm a big fan of the Predator and first Two Aliens films and wanted to see something scarier and gritter. Fortunately the movie is suppose to deliever the goods.
