Got these goodies for Christmas:

Yes - Close to the Edge -- Epic and lovely, but also very catchy.
Ernst Reijseger & Franco D'Andrea - I Love You So Much It Hurts -- Interesting and beautiful jazz.
Paul Simon - Rhythm of the Saints -- I always liked this when I was little and it's about time I owned a copy.
Radiohead - Com Lag -- Uneven odds and ends, but it's Radiohead and I love them.

Yes, "amazing" is one way to describe that record.  "Wrongheaded" might be another!   :teddyr:

Heh.  Over this weekend I introduced my children to the magic of the Thriller video.  They are entranced by it.

Rear View Mirror (Greatest Hits 1991-2003) by Pearl Jam.  One disc the power songs, the other the softer more ballady stuff like "Black."

Good video.  That's one of the songs on the essential.  He is a wackadoo and I wouldn't trust him with my kids (if I had any), but he did some good music, especially from like, '79-'85.  Granted I wasn't around until '84, but I prefer that stuff to his '90s stuff or the Jackson 5.

Wrongheaded... or genius?  Shat keeps you guessing!  OK, if I had to guess, I'd take wrongheaded.
