Peter Jackson is producing The Hobbit

It does make more sense that way. I am curious what they are using for source material between the Hobbit and LOTR. Was the battle with the Witch-King in that time frame?

As for Peter Jackson, I knew that he wasn't directing, I believe that he's producing. It's still good to have him involved. He really pushed for an authentic representation of the scenery and buildings.

The director most talked about for The Hobbit is Sam Raimi. He was rumored to be the front runner when New Line and Jackson were still on the outs, but Sam said he wouldn't touch it without Jackson blessing.

Raimi just announced his next film would be something called "Drag Me to Hell".



And you thought Trek isn't cool.
