Misfits of Science

I remember this show from my childhood in the vaguest sense and I remember as a kid thinking this used to be cool.  So I checked it out:

I heard that this show got canceled because some idiot tried to become a misfit by ingesting some toxic chemical to gain special powers or something.

I remember watching the show more or less.  I couldn't really enjoy it back then because, back in the days when crap like Knots Landing and Falcon's Crest was on late night, my mom HAD to watch those.  And I think Misfits of Science was on the same time as one of those late night soap operas, so you try to argue with mom when your like 8 or 9 years old at the time.

I loved this show when I was little and I found a handful of them on some TV newsgroup several years back.  It has the aproximate production values of your average A-Team episode and in spite of it being completely corny, I loved it.
