QuoteFAB Press is a fiercely independent publishing house, dedicated to producing illustrated books of the highest possible quality. Unburdened by the constraints of larger book publishing concerns, FAB Press is willing and able to go the extra mile in giving the most marginal of subjects the sort of treatment usually reserved for only the most commercial mainstream subjects. Harvey has been collecting illustrated cinema books since he was 10 years old, and is convinced that it was inevitable that he would end up publishing them.

personally, i have book of the dead, which is a "complete history" of zombie cinema, beyond terror, a great guide to the works of lucio fulci, and shock! horror!, a big book of vhs case covers from the video nasties list. they're all large, colorful, and intelligently written.

I got lots of reference books...but this place is cool! I usually buy from McFarland Books.

Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

i work at a bookstore, and i'm always saying that we should stock more of the fab press titles. sooner or later i'm just going to say i'm ordering them for myself, refuse them upon delivery, and ad them to our store inventory.

dvd delirium.i must have these books!or,at the very least, volume 3,since it indexes the previous volumes...and definitely nightmare usa!
hey toyman,if you're in kansas,let me know,i'll buy them,lol!
has anybody got any of the rough guide books?discovered them on ebay,i need more info from owners than what i can find online...

it's not a fab press book, but i got a copy of "GRINDHOUSE: the sleaze-filled saga of an exploitation double feature" tonight. the list price was $29.95, but i got a 33% discount on it. i've only read a few pages, but it's a brilliant-looking book. i think every single page in the book has an illustration on it.

i'm especially looking forward to the chapter on the machete trailer.
