If there was any justice in this world, Bruce would have got an Oscar for this.

 for this one. Just great fun, I was laughing throughout althugh the soul-sucking Mummy is kinda genuinely creepy. Personally I think this film featrues Campbell's best performance to date....

No, Bruce Campbell plays Elvis Hiself, not an impersonator -- He lets the impersonator die in his place, and assumes a "normal" life.  Watch the extras on the DVD as well -- it's terrific stuff --
Now, I am of 2 minds as to whether or not Ossie Davis is really JFK -- He sort of goes too far out of his way to make you think he's just a crazy old black man . . . Nah, what am I saying?  Ossie Davis is really JFK too!!

The whole point is, it's not that simple.  We of the B-mindset know immediately that Ossie is really JFK when we see that scar on his neck.  But come on, the whole ideais crazy.  And in fact these guys have no credibility because they're living in a Texas laughing academy for old folks.  AND YET THEIR STORIES MAKE SENSE.  You gotta believe me, doc!  Stop lubing my crank a minute and LISTEN!
