Thorn EMI video posters....

how rare are these things? i myself am too young to have been aware ( more or less care about) of this paricular cult video release company. im meeting bruce campbell at a convention so i was looking on e-bay for an original evil dead poster ( 500 bucks! yikes!) and found a Thorn EMI video poster for it and bought it for $127. i try and find original posters that are already worth something and have stars sign it. anyway back on topic, does anyone know off the top of their heads?

Jeez! I didnt know posters went for that much! Is it from when the movie first came out? Because you can find reprints of posters that look exactly the same. I got posters from the 3 original star wars movies for like 15 bucks, or something.

haha yea man, i mean of course i can get reprints but the originals are worth money.

I have no doubt that the posters are expensive.  I have a few original Thorn EMI videos in their original boxes; one of which I have been quoted $300.00 for.

I worked in a video rental store in the 1980s and I took home dozens of movie posters . . . many from Thorn EMI.  They are all gone now.  I probably threw away a fortune . . .
