I just finished Tomb Raider Anniversary on the Wii, now I'm starting on Resident Evil 4, about 3 hours into it, it's a pretty good game so far.

Barbeque sauce tastes good on EVERYTHING, even salad.

Yes, salad.

Back on my WOW kick thanks to some friends talking me back into playing the game.

Otherwise, I'm playing the Orange Box and Shadowrun on my 360.  Also still playing a lot of Day Of Defeat: Source on PC.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

I finished three Zelda games recently: Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and Ocarina of Time. My thumb is sore now. :bluesad:

Ocarina of Time is by far the hardest of the three. The minor monsters are nothing, but the bosses are quite difficult; Ganon in particular frustrated me to no end. I even showed my frustration in front of my daughter, which I rarely do. In fact, when she gets frustrated over something silly like a game, I usually make her stop playing. So I asked her if she was going to make me stop playing and send me to bed early. She just said that I should stop playing--so that she could start (she's playing Wind Waker).

Ganon is easy, sir. :3
Just fire the light arrow at his face, and you'll stun him. There's also a lot of design flaws in that fight. For example, on thing you can do is roll between his legs and smack the weak point on his tail

You should just go here http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/n64/game/197771.html  It has a bunch of walkthroughs in case you get stuck.  How do you think I beat the Happy Mask Shop mini quest?

I did use the between-the-legs tactic, both with the hammer and with the Master Sword, and it worked much better than shooting the light arrows at his eyes. I also used online walkthroughs galore (you'll notice I did say that I finished the three Zelda games--an old fart like me isn't likely to finish games like that without at least a little strategy help  :tongueout:). The hard part with Ganon in Ocarina of Time is the combination of bad camera angles (I couldn't see where I was half the time) and the number of hits it takes to finish him off. He is difficult to finish off in the other two (I particularly hated the horse chase in TP and the bounce-the-arrow-off-my-shield part in WW), but OoT just seemed to go to greater lengths to make the fight difficult. I realize this is great from a challenge perspective, but for me the frustration ended up outweighing the fun of the challenge. I'm not a huge video gamer--the Wii is the first system I've bought since my original NES--so I don't use the controllers as well as many gamers do. I mainly like the quest-style games, and they are not as in fashion as they once were, so video game systems don't hold the same allure for me as they do for many since games I like are hard to find. Are there other Wii/Game Cube quest games that stack up well against the Zelda franchise?

Finished Resident Evil 4 on the PS2.  Eh, it was good, almost very good.  Wasn't as fantastic as I was lead to believe.  There really wasn't much story to keep me interested, or any really cool guns.  Started with that Ada Wong mini game but got bored right away.  When you're used to uzi's and semi-auto shotguns, who the heck wants to go back to a crappy pistol that takes six shots to kill a guy?  I'm a bit intrigued with being able to buy an infinite ammo rocket launcher on my second time through, so maybe there'll be some replay value in the future.

Ordered God of War for the PS2, gotta wait for it to arrive.  Sounds like a helluva ride.  Right now I'm playing Metal Ger Solid 3:  Snake Eater.  Finished it once on very easy mode, now I'm going through on easy mode.  I think maybe I should have set it on normal mode  :tongueout:  It's pretty easy.  Got shot about ten times yesterday and it reduced my health by about 5%.  I think even I am up to a bit more challenge than that.  It's a cool game though, lots of varied environments and different stuff to keep you interested.  I'm in the mood for a sneaking mission after all the shootouts in RE4.

The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion.
