A spinning bird?

Okay, I was just thinking of this film (or part of a film) today and thought I'd try my luck with the brain trust here and see if you can do better on this than I have.

This is a film that as far as I can remember came out in the late '50s/early-to-mid '60s and was in color.  Everyone was typically clean-cut and all.  But the only part of the movie I remember was where the lead man was trying to hide his alcohol in the house before some friends came in and part of his stash ended up in his pet bird's water feeder.  Eventually they all come upon the bird and see it spinning over and over on its perch in the cage.  Someone asks what's wrong with the bird and the guy, trying to cover, responds, "He must be happy?"

It might have been a Disney or Disney-esque comedy, also.

Pretty slack info but that's all I got.  Anyone have a clue?
