Piranha remake coming in 3-D July 2009!

I didn't care for Aja's The Hills Have Eyes remake even though it was technically an extremely well made film.  I kind of wish he would get back to making originals like the (IMO) great High Tension but a 3D Piranha remake does sound kind of cool.

At the very least, you have to agree that it's a good choice for a 3-D remake.  I wonder if the fish will come leaping out of the water.

Some friends of mine at work and myself were talking about that over dinner if some of the aspects of Piranha 2 might come into play in this remake.
