I'm one of the very few people that I know personally who could follow up Neil Diamond with Cannibal Corpse BTW.   :teddyr:
I noticed CANNIBAL CORPSE and frankly, I'm not impressed.  Anything to wash the taste of NEIL out of one's mouth...   :tongueout:

They really had a lot more range than the two Dylanesque songs they're best known for "Monday Monday" and "California Dreaming."
I like alot of THE MAMA'S and the PAPA'S, songs like "Creeque Alley" "Somebody Groovy" "Dedicated to the One I Love" and "Dream a Little Dream" (typically credited to the M&Ps).

I've also heard that his Christmas album was beyond awful. I think it was my mom who told me that.  However, his most recent album that he did with Rick Rubin was supposed to be really good.
Great buy!  I don't even mind "America..."  I really like quite a number of his charters, not just the original classics, but even "Love On The Rocks!"

I had heard the first Christmas album at my sister's house many years ago on replay... all day... "I'yi'yi'I'yi'yi'm dreaminGguhh... of a WhI'yi'yi'I'yi'yi'TT CHRRISSTMASS!!"  Too bad we don't have a jaw-dropping avatar.
Neil's great.  "America" is a favorite of mine.  People get kinda shocked when I say I like him because of the other music I listen to.  But, it's kinda eclectic, so it shouldn't be that shocking.

Awesome album (plus it has a cool bonus disc called Bastard Universe that's nearly 80 minutes of spacey jamming).
