I was wondering the same thing RC.
I figured you'd written a post and then deleted it.

Maybe he didn't mean to put it in quotes but did so accidentally.
As to who "he" is, I haven't a clue. Maybe "he" wrote a post, it got quoted by Odinn and was then deleted.
Weird.

I was sitting around earlier, bored as hell and thought it'd be fun to do something like this. (it's never been done before here)
I think I gave pretty much every regular poster karma. I forgot Susan but then remembered to give her karma too.
If I missed anyone, let me know.

I honestly am confused. After I posted the Culture Club vid...I gave out good karma too...and that was the last thing I posted! I dunno...

Oh, BELA, you know you don't care 'bout karma (being so ahead of all of us) but I do understand your confusion, I went back and read the thread... "you should be banned for that video..." ???

I wondered what that meant, too...

I only gave karma to the regulars...which was somewhere between 50-75 people.

When I quoted you, I couldn't stand the thought of actually quoting with the video....lol...so I added that you should be banned....at the very least, you should get a negative for posting it. Imagine my horror when I clicked on it...only to discover it was evil from the 80's!

Not at all, now I see. CULTURE CLUB may not have aged well stylistically, but I will tell you that I liked Colour By Numbers a lot the year it was new (though it was played enough everywhere for my lifetime and I don't need to hear it and never bought the CD). It's a damned fine record and I liked it well enough back then to go and buy not only their debut LP, but their follow-up, Waking Up With The House On Fire (which is underrated, as all their records are, now, as the pendulum swings.) I saw CULTURE CLUB on the Waking Up tour, and it was lame. They had them booked in huge arenas, and they belonged in clubs. CULTURE CLUB did make some great records.
