I found this one while reading about another film at the imdb under it's "if you like this, you might like" recommendation section.

Plot:

A high school transfer student, pushed to the edge by a trio of brutal bullies, resorts to murder to reclaim the school from oppression, and later turns against the students wanting to fill the vacuum of their oppressors

Whoa, that sounds freaking awesome!  (Course, maybe I'm weird.)

Just curious if anyone seen this or not.

I saw it looooooong ago on Showtime in the early 80's. This has become somewhat of a cult favorite (so I've heard)-and is more revelant now than ever before, with all the real life high school massacres that have occured since then-(1976)

I recall enjoying it at the time. Would sure like to see it again. I wonder...is it on DVD?

This one sounds quite interesting.  Thanks for bringing it to our attention BTM.  I'm going to have to seek it out.  It appears to have been on DVD at some point but is out of print as of now.  I'll see about picking up a copy on Ebay.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

El Dogo

I saw it a very long time ago, on probably the most battered, sun-faded, yet still playable VHS tapes I've ever seen.

I found it interesting.  Not scary, really.  Almost more like a weirdo art film someone tried to slip in under the radar.

DARKTIGER

This movie was one of my favorite movies to watch on Saturday afternoon on channel 5 in Cleveland.

Yes, while it covers some of the same ground as "Heathers," I like this one much more. Much more nastier villains in this one. And I found how the characters react to everything going on around them, much more realistic in this one.

As I understand it, there's a lot of symbolism going on in this movie. Andrew Kidd made a terrific post about it some time on the old SciFilm board.

I've been trying to track down a copy of this for years, sounds great.

This movie almost comes across as some weird and twisted ABC After School Special.
The guy flying the hang glider into the electrical tower was hilarious!   :teddyr:
