Mr. DS

I'm getting in to this post a little late but I have a pretty good mix of this kind of music on my I-Pod.  I think this kind of music was good up until it unfortunately evolved into techno and house music.

Sorry my man, techno and electronica was around prior, at least at certain club scenes.  Most evolved from the 70s-80s underground but we could probably trace most of it back to Devo ("aww dad, we're all Devo") and Gary Numan.  But then, it might be a different kinda electronica than you're referring to.

Canary,
You really should read every post in a thread before posting a video.
Click on page 1 of this thread and scroll all the way to the bottom.

By the way, her hair was AWFUL!!

Oops - sorry -missed a post er something.  Oh well, 90s fans must think alike :)  I'll edit it out and post her other vid.  Heh, I was being sarcastic about the hair - nothing says 90s like that kinda hair!

No problem...

As for Snow, I bought his album back in the early 90's and played the s**t out of it!
All of my friends and I loved it.
People make fun of his songs now, but back then, he was no joke.
Everybody I knew listened to his music.

Here's another good song by him:
(I couldn't find the official video so this one will have to do)

The person who posted the 3rd Bass video doesn't allow embedding.
(says...This Video Is No Longer Available)

And O.P.P.  Awesome song!
I always think of the movie Jarhead whenever I hear it now.   :teddyr:

Yeah I removed the 3rd Bass - but it's another searchable at least.  This thread also reminded me of Criss Cross, and that kid group that did "Iesha" or something like that (can't remember)...House of Pain, Toad the Wet Sprocket, and where's "Push it" from Salt n Peppa (that's actually 80s but they did have a lot of 90s like that one w/En Vogue).  Dang too many memories and I can't quite remember all the names.

Just don't get me started on 90s stuff from "120 Minutes" :)

I think DEVO and GARY NUMAN owe a debt to BRIAN ENO and even earlier, KRAFTWERK...
