If MST3K(Mystery Science Theater 3000) would come back on, what shows  you like to see them do that they have not done yet?

Steven Millan

Any of the bona fide classics from the following celebrities, and most cherished filmmakers.....
             Fred Olen Ray
             Jim Wynorski
              Albert Pyun
              David DeCoteau
              J.R. Bookwalter
               Todd Sheets
               Don "the Dragon" Wilson
               Sybil Danning
               Lorenzo Lamas
               Roddy Piper
               Traci Lords
                Jan Micahel Vincent
               Andy Sidaris(he truly deserves a MST3K roasting,more badly than
my fave college beer buddies Jim and Albert)
Eric Roberts("Fred Olen Ray and Albert Pyun, please return my calls...")
Treat Williams(has made more terrible movies than Roberts and JMV)
                Dean Cain,Olivier Gruner,Antonio Sabata Jr.,Casper Van Dien

Jay O'Connor

Albert Pyun -> I think they did "Sword and The Sorcerer".
I can imagine "Omega Doom" or anything from the "Nemesis" series putting them to sleep (or the audience)

"Deep Hurt^H^H^H^Sleeping"

Andy Sidaris - Umm...After required editing, the could probably do a medly  of *all* his work in a two hour show

Flangepart

There is SO much to choose from. The Giant Claw, Voyage to a prehistoric planet, Atomic Submarine, Beast with a million eyes, Caltiki-the imortal monster, Bats, Night of the Lepus.....(Sigh)....so much cheese....so many ass's left unripped......

I'd love to see them do some of Herschell Gordon Lewis' stuff, if they could get them mostly uncut on TV. And hey, given his self-deprecating humor, they might even get a guest appearance by the man!

More Movies(with these celebrities) for MST3K Viewing
              Gary Busey
              Jeff Fahey
              Nastassja Kinski

J.R.

I just recently moved and found my old MST3K posters. Crow and Servo and Gypsey grace my walls once again.

Any Paul Anderson movie could be used. Oh, and there's a new reason to hate that walking pile of theft: On the DVD commentary for Resident Evil it is revealed that there were supposed to be parallels with Alice In Wonderland. Hmmm...what recent movie did the same thing, only much better? The Matrix! Oh, well, every other part of that movie was ripped off for RE.

Law Dog

Uncle Sam
Jack Frost
Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things
Elves

Luke Bannon

Elves, The Wraith, any movie starring Hulk Hogan, Mecha of the lost women (I think that's the title), Killers from Outer Space, Jesse James meets Frankenstien's Daughter, Roger Corman's movies,   the Leprechaun films, some big budget crap films, like Highlander 2, the 1998 Godzilla movie, the power rangers movie and that's all I can think of so far.

Tyler

Meet the Feebles.  Of course, this would have to be the MST3K version on Cinemax where they could show everything.

Luke Bannon

They could do MST3Ks to make some films more enjoyable (kinda like the Rocky Horror audience participation)!

yaddo42

Al Adamson
A really bad Italian crime melodrama from the 60s I saw on AMC a few months ago called DOG EAT DOG.
Almost anything with Sylvester Stallone. Just imagine the guys ripping into NIGHTHAWKS, JUDGE DREDD or CLIFFHANGER.
BLOOD BEACH
Any of those Amy Fisher TV movies from the 90s, but especially the one with Drew Barrymore.

J.R.

Any film with Ben Affleck, but picking on that dim sack of ham might be just too easy.

jmc

It would be okay if they did current films.  I've had mixed feelings about MST3K through the years.  I have to give them credit for bringing me into the bad movie fold, but I think the people behind MST3K aren't real bad movie fans--there's a mean-spiritedness and contempt for the material that really turns me off.  I've found that the more I've gotten into bad movies, the less use I've had for MST3K.
These days I firmly believe that real bad movie fans don't need MST3K to enjoy these films.

However, I've really enjoyed some of the stuff they've done, especially the made-for-TV films like MITCHELL or RIDING WITH DEATH.   But I sure wouldn't want to see them touch stuff that already has a following and is fine the way it is  All in all, I think it's better that MST3K remain in the past..

Flangepart

I think i understand, jmc. I have been a long time seeing some of my tapes. But, it's nice to have them available when i am in the mood. Its been fun doing Roll yer own MST. I've done 14 flicks so far. "Fiend witjout a face "the latest. True, Best Brains  did some times have an Attitude, espchualy after the change to Sci-fi Channel, But,  they were, to me, the suger in the lemon juice of Hollywood excess. The earliest years were the least "mean" toward the subject matter. Still, i take the attitude that, Hey, its just a movie. .......................Got the Library dvd of "Plan 9". The extra, "The Plan 9 Conpanion" was fun. Plan 9 will never be confusied with high art....but it entertains...not in the way Ed Wood intended...but, it does entertain. And, in the end, if YOU like it...thats all that matters. Its your dvd/vcr...feed it what it likes..........................................................................................................
