Somethings should not be done ... making a Zelda movie is one of them seeing how the cartoon was such a huge success. What next? "Tetris - The Movie" or maybe "PONG - The Ball Strikes Back"
Rarely is a game or cartoon/comic converted to a movie and it's any good. I'm really having trouble thinking of one. 

Oh, I think there have been some good comic book movies.  Batman Begins, Spiderman 2, and X-Men were pretty good I thought. 

Legend of Zelda is the type of video game that propably could be turned into a great movie.  Nintendo's version of Lord of the Rings.  Sadly, I know the moment this movie is announced, its going to be bogged down in pre-porduction, legal matters and all of the other problems that keep highly expected movies in development hell.

Anyways, the trailer was fun, though it looks pretty much the way it would be if Uwe Boll did a Zelda, heh. Has that cheesiness to it.
