After macheteing my way threw the hellish unfunny jungle that was "night Patrol" it was a relief to find some open ...area with "the Private Eyes" starring Don knotts, comedic genius.  This is a childrens movie and it's corny but it's pretty darn funny too. Tim Conway, as knotts sidekick,  is not as animated and crazy looking as most actors in these things are nowadays, but he's still good.  The director and whoever the other guy was have such a good time watching it they barely say anything on the commentary track, always a good sign.   There's a couple of pretty girls so the adults don't get too bored as well.  I'll be showing my niece and nephew this and "Kenny and co" along with the dungeons and dragons cartoons which are already a smash hit.

The Burgomaster

I saw this many years ago and I don't remember much about it.  However, I do remember that it was funnier than I would have expected it to be.
