YES...been their done that. Gawd I miss the Ramones...! But I'm glad I was there. HEY HO! LETS GO!


edit: I usta have a transistor radio with an earpiece...(looked like a hearing aid)  and would listen to  WLS AM out of Chicago(!) with Larry Lujack and some oddball station that would rerun old SUSPENSE and the SHADOW radio shows from the 40's.
Later I enjoyed WLAV-FM's King Biscuit Flour Hour and Dr. Demeto Show!

:hot: Oh yeh, does that prove my point about what the so-called PUNK movement was all about?  Great, short, ROCK records, like the old 45s that we were still buying when "Do You Remember Rock and Roll Radio?" was new.

We're in a different world now. 
Ramones are sweet.  I'm a huge fan of them, as well as The Clash, Sex Pistols and Misfits.  I like some of the 'newer' bands, but they're more of a pop/punk mix, like Green Day and Rancid.  I'll still say Green Day is a good enough band, but that's up for debate.  I wouldn't say they're 'punk' but a good band overall.
