I don't know this guy, trek but he comes across like the South African censors who went through life banning things left, right and center while wearing blinkers which prevent them from seeing other things and other directions to life.

Such people really p*** me off highly.

I've read the Wikipedia links, thanks, trek.

After reading them, I discovered that this idiot Jack Thompson is not exactly like the censors in South Africa who had frightening powers over all: no, he's much worse in fact. 

Thompson reminds me of a SA pro-censorship fighter named Horace van Rensburg who took it upon himself to challenge the relaxing of the censorship laws in 1994. He challenged everyone and had a memorable debate with an American publisher about freedom of the press.

Van Rensburg (furious, red in the face): "Did you read it (referring to a publication) with your eyes shut or open?"
Publisher: "I read it with my mind open, which is something you should try."

That exchange, thankfully, was the end of Horace's 15 minutes of fame.

Jack Thompson is a piece of crap that needs to get a life.  And saying that all adroit gamers are on death row.  How thick/arrogant is that?
