I have below a recently made fanart, and I figured that the fellas on this board would probably be the only ones I know (besides me) who would appreciate it... Or would even have a chance of knowing who these characters are. Some should be pretty easy for lovers of weird cinema, others you get brownie points for, especially since there are a couple here whom I didn't exactly nail in terms of their visage... So feel free to admire, criticize, and guess away!

Well, Dr. Strangelove, Manos and the Tall Man jump out immediately. I think I know who the others are, but I'm not 100% sure yet.

And is that Animala? Dance, Animala, dance! Or if it's not, then just continue to stand there.

It could also be a Catwoman from the Moon, or the Devil Girl from Mars.  I don't think it's supposed to be the Astounding She Monster.  Come to think of it, there are a lot of women in science fiction films wearing only body-hugging outfits.  Must be a fetish...

Behind Strangelove I'd have to say that's Dr. Gogol (Mad Love).

The guy next to the Tall Man looks familiar but I'll be damned if I can place where I've seen him.

Is the little vampire looking guy Lon Cheney's character from the long lost London After Midnight?

And the guy all the way to the left makes me think of Crispen Glover from the Willard remake... or Randolph Carter from the Unnamable movies?

AndyC got the Tall Man (3), Strangelove (2B), and Manos (6) right, and Anubis got Gogol (2A), and LAM vampire (I think the name was Roger Balfour ) correct. No, the catsuit woman is not one of those you mentioned (think much older, and foreign), and the one on the extreme left was neither Randolph nor Willard. Admittedly those two and the one next to the tall man are a bit ambiguous. I think someone should be able to come up with the one on the extreme right's identity. If no one gets 'em in about a work week I'll list them out.

Glad you guys are enjoying my pic.

That cyborg-looking guy on the right seems really familiar. I just can't place him. Same with the catsuit woman.

Derf

I can see the photo of the catsuit woman in my head: black & white, same expression on her face as is shown in the drawing. I'm thinking Italian for some reason, but I'm not placing the film. The guy next to the Tall Man almost looks like Christopher Walken.

Is the catsuited character actually Diabolik from "Danger:Diabolik" by any chance?

Doc Daneeka

Nope, the catsuited woman is indeed a woman

I'm throwing a completley wild guess out here but is that robot guy, Gort from The Day the Earth Stood Still.
Barbeque sauce tastes good on EVERYTHING, even salad.

Yes, salad.

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that the guy on the far left is Jean-Baptiste Emmanuel Zorg.

The guy next to the Tall Man kind of looks like George C. Scott, but I can't think of a character.

And the catsuit woman is frustrating the hell out of me, because I can picture the actual character, but I'm coming up blank on who she is.

Patient7: Nope, think much more recent, within the last decade .

AndyC: I feel kinda down since you and Derf are making better guesses than I made drawings :bouncegiggle:. Do you like old, silent movies? Because man and woman 4&5 are both from silent films.

#1 is probably the worst on the page, I understated the facial features and expression and overdid the clothing. You want I should just tell you guys? If not, here's a hint anyhow; he's an actor quite respected throughout the b-film community in a role under the direction of a man who has long parted from the b-film community.

In that case, Sonny from IRobot.

Based on your clues perhaps #1 is Ash, not this Ash, Bruce Cambell's Ash.
