RIP Jim McKay

I see Jim McKay passed away earlier today.  Most of us probably remember him from Wide World of Sports, and "...the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat!"  I know many a Saturday afternoon was spent growing up watching that show.

Yes, Jim McKay died and it's sad news.  I recall him fondly also. 

This thread probably belongs in the PRESS RELEASES and NEWS sub-forum, but thanks for posting it.   :thumbup:

I was at an awards ceremony in Boston back in 1983 and met Jim McKay (he was the guest speaker).  A very nice man.  I have his autograph on a napkin somewhere.



And you thought Trek isn't cool.
