Richard Kiel, the star of such fine movies as Eegah and Human Duplicators, has a website up at www.richardkiel.com (turn down the volume!) where you can buy his new autobiography and many photos.  I met him at a con recently and bought his book.  Since he is a fairly wholesome, born-again kind of giant, this book is no Hollywood Babylon, but it does recount some interesting stories about filming movies like Eegah and Skiddoo.  Mainly it's about his struggles to make a living as an actor, and then later on, what it's like dragging your family around the world with you when you're on a Bond shoot.

One interesting tidbit he drops is that he wrote a script for a bad movie with "A go-go" in the title, which he later threw away, and much later saw on late-night TV.  Could this be Monster A go-go, the low budget non-thriller with a non-Richard Kiel giant guy wandering around in a space suit?  I wonder if someone really ripped him off.  Man, how desperate do you have to be to steal a script from Richard Kiel's trash!

anyway, folks who are interested should check out his website and buy his book.  He's a nice guy and since his car accident which left him partially disabled, he's not getting a whole lot of acting roles (Happy Gilmore being the exception).   If you ever get a chance to meet him in person, do it and bring a camera with you, he takes great fan photos.
